Profile Summary
Solvemed is currently recruiting a business development lead with experience in market research, business and R&D partnering, and business intelligence,
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, can-do attitude mandatory
- Experience in growing, leading and managing teams mandatory
- Experience in neuroscience and/or medical devices welcome
- Experience in building and growing relevant external networks across diverse stakeholders welcome
Objective
The objective of the role is to support the formulation and delivery of company strategy through:
- performing industry and market research to address gaps in sector understanding,
- supporting partnering efforts with external entities to advance business and research partnering,
- driving operational excellence to ensure institutional memory and operational efficiency.
- contributing to internal business intelligence efforts.
Responsibilities
- Perform industry and market research to support strategy work
- Perform ad hoc research and analysis to support operations and BD work
- Produce internal reports and notes to address knowledge gaps
- Leverage professional network for BD purposes in commercial and research domains, where possible
- Analyse and synthesise gathered information, including performing quantitative analysis
- Work closely with the Management and team Heads to support their daily operations
- Organise, curate and keep up-to-date internal documentation, including internal databases & CRM, and file repositories
- Support partnering work in business and research
- Support business intelligence efforts with BI tool implementation, integration, data gathering, analysis
Qualifications
- BA or MA or MBA or PhD degree from a reputable university
- At least 2 years of full-time market and/or financial research experience
- Track record in company communication and representation
- Strong track record of publications, peer-reviewed and/or industrial magazine
- Familiarity with remote working tools such as Jira, Asana
- Excellent command of the Microsoft 365 suite
- International working experience
